Leaving Home
There is no easy way to do it, leaving home, leaving your friends and family. Leaving familiararity, regimen, schedules, jobs....your every day life....it's tough.
The hardest part about leaving Jackson Hole is my wonderful job at the Senior Center. It was the best job i've had so far in my recreation career. And the people I have met, they will have a special place in my heart.
The other things I will miss is the winter mountain culture that happens, it is so much fun. I will miss the many nights of dancing at the Tavern, Rose and The Wort. The endless night skies full of stars, the calm after a snow storm, all the outdoor recreation one could ask for and the many friends I have made that have inspired me to get out there and explore.
My true home, I will miss my parents. I have so much support from them. I will miss my sister, someday we will travel together. All my beautiful and smart nieces, I have always tried to be a good role model for them. I will miss my cousin Amanda, who has been by my side pretty much my entire big kid life. Ry ry, my ride or die best man friend. And all of my past and present close friends who have made me who I am today. I love you guys!
In the words of Winnie the Pooh...."How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard".
